What Leon Thinks: Halloween 2022 Update
Who knew starting a blog would be so nerve wrecking? I'm sure someone knew but still! Nonetheless, I'm loud, live and in color. The blog is here folks!
How did we get here?
If you know me, you know I got a lot to say. I am not shy with words. My childhood was full of folks saying, "boy, if you don't hurry it up," and "where is the point?" I'd reply, "okay, but did you know" or "what's interesting is.." and continue with my story. I knew then I had a lot to say. I wasn't sure how I would express myself, though.
Austin Kleon's book, Share Your Work!, discusses personal internet space's importance. A place where you make the rules, something that is not social media. Something yours. James Baldwin says that a writer "might be an architect, might be a junkie, might be any number of things." This blog is where I'll explore who I might be or become. And it's my corner of the internet where I make the rules.
What will I talk about?
3D printing projects, choreography projects, Chicago, anything. If you ask my friends, I swear I'm Dumbledore, so I'll bestow (or try to) some wisdom here and there. Anything that comes to my mind! Things like:
And so much more. If you've had the chance to check out the blog already, thank you! If you haven't, thank you too but a pox on your house. Here's to doing a lot!
Check out this Halloween centerpiece I put together using some 3D models I edited and printed, plus a few items from the Dollar.25 store. You’ll see my friend Fred on the path.
